  • 4 years as a multifamily housing and/or multifamily financial services professional
    Desired Experiences
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
      As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to manage the administration, strategic planning, and operations of an assigned portfolio. In this role, you will also provide expertise to evaluate and create business processes and assist in implementing solutions for the asset management of new loan initiatives.
      The MF Risk - Asset Management - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities
      • Support a portfolio's vision and strategic objectives.
      • Lead portfolio progress analysis and enact changes, along with reporting portfolio performance to key stakeholders.
      • Evaluate risk of current assets, while complying with governance and controls.
      • Monitor the end-to-end execution of business processes using enterprise systems, as well as provide continuous feedback for effective tracking and reporting.
      • Recommend business process changes and implement efficient processes for the management of new business initiatives.
      • Effectively evaluate legal documents and other applicable forms to understand business impact and ensure continuity of loan management.
        • Effective communication skills including collaborating and engaging with stakeholders and customers, building relationship networks, etc.
        • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts, answer critical questions, and develop appropriate solutions
        • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
        • Risk Assessment and Management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
        • Business Insight skills including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
        • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
        • Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
        • Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
        • Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Excel, or Tableau.
        • Loan Management skills including evaluating loan requests, classifying loans, identifying fraud, etc.
        • Business Process Management skills including business process modeling, process design and implementation, etc.
        • Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performance
        • Learning and Training skills including conducting, developing, and evaluating training, instructional design, and learning management systems
        • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
        • Skilled in Excel, Microsoft Office suite, MS Teams
        • Tableau skills a plus
