Quest--Re-Source is a New York City based Search & Recruitment Agency specializing in the Contract Furniture - Design - Build - industries Nationwide. Our client is a major contract furniture dealership. with offices through-out the East Coast.-- Job Description Position: Proposal Manager-- Reports to:----Director of Marketing-- Summary: The Proposal Manager is responsible for managing responses to RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's, and SOW's under the direction of the Director of Marketing. The Proposal Manager develops responses incorporating brand standards, facilitates proposal review processes, creates final responses, and tracks potential opportunities through a variety of procurement sites. The Proposal Manager must be passionate about proposals, process improvement, communications, and committed to proposal excellence and success. Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage the overall proposal development process from pre-proposal through post-proposal--
  • Analyze solicitations, identify all requirements, and develop items including, but not limited to: proposal schedule, outline, compliance matrix, kick-off coordination, and others.
  • Coordinate with internal and external points of contact to procure deliverables to incorporate into proposal responses.--
  • Manage proposal schedule for receiving internal deliverables to meet overall proposal deadline.
  • Respond promptly to RFP amendments and implement required changes to proposal.
  • Ensure win strategy, technical solution, win themes, discriminators, compliance, and clear understanding of the requirements are well-articulated and consistent throughout final proposal documents.
  • Conduct proposal reviews for overall quality and adherence to internal best practices and federal procurement guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with the company brand standards on all pursuits.--
  • Track proposal status, complete win / loss rate analysis, and debrief with team for future responses.
  • Maintain project profiles, resumes, references, testimonials, and past performance database.--
  • Define, document, implement, and support continual proposal process improvement.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with strong attention to detail.--
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).--
  • Experience with GSA Solicitations--
  • Experience with online procurement sites including, but not limited to: beta.sam.gov, eBuy, eVA, etc.
  • Ability to evaluate compliance with client / government Contracts and Terms & Conditions
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of proposal writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, communication, and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with various levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project coordination skills, with ability to track multiple projects and deliverables, and handle tight deadlines in a positive manner. Qualifications Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or similar-related subject, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4-6 years of experience performing similar functions in a professional organization. It is preferred that experience be in the architecture, interior design, construction, engineering, or commercial real estate industry.--

Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
