Job Description:
The Senior Director of Client Relations principally responsible
for developing and executing a strategy to obtain/expand
Organizational funding and other fiscal opportunities that allow
the organization to achieve and sustain its mission. Primary
Responsibilities Act as a trusted adviser on the Senior Leadership
Team to the Organization---s Chief Executive Officer Develops and
regularly updates a comprehensive business development plan with
targeted goals, objectives, methods, quantifiable outcomes and
timelines to help achieve agency sustainability and annual budget
goals Identifies and robustly develops business opportunities,
partnerships and relationships Develops processes and systems
relating to the management and expansion of fiscal opportunities
Develops sustainability strategies to ensure long-term financial
viability of programs and services Extensively collaborates and
supports the Organization---s recruiting and programmatic functions
to ensure successful client and staff integration Builds and
strengthens partnerships and strategic alliances that will extend
the Organization---s brand in the community and increases avenues
of support Strengthen the Organization---s brand and reputation
with clients, business partners and other stakeholders Remains
abreast of sector developments locally, regionally and national to
help guide the Agency---s core mission and strategy Generates
positive community and partner awareness of the Organization, its
mission and impact Effectively manage daily requests relating to
the Organization---s client stakeholders Regularly conduct
in-person meetings with client stakeholders within their homes
and/or other community settings Troubleshoot/resolve various (macro
and micro) problems and challenges with client and staff
stakeholders daily Assist the Organization in other areas as needed
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor---s degree in business, public
administration, nonprofit management or other related field or
substantial commensurate experience in similar roles in the
disability or healthcare field Minimum of five years of business
development experience in the health care, human services, aging,
disability or managed care fields Demonstrated success leading
business strategy development in the fields of social services,
health care, aging, or disability Experience with building
relationships, with coordinators, prospective clients and state
stakeholders Expertise in networking, marketing and targeted
influencer identification and outreach Excellent oral and written
communication skills, with the ability to communicate information
in a clear and concise manner Strong interpersonal skills,
including the demonstrated ability to work effectively and
strategically with colleagues, business partners, prospects and
community stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office and
Google-based programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google
Docs Demonstrated level of consistent high-quality and high-output
productivity Must possess an entrepreneurial spirt, resilience and
agility Must be willing to regularly drive to various locations in
Maryland (post-pandemic) Must have the ability to manage
high-volume of projects and tasks Must exhibit comfort with
presenting materials and regularly attending stakeholder meetings
Ability to develop successful partner/peer relationships at all
levels of an organization Ability to work 50 hours or more per week
