The Professionals' Choice for Real Estate Jobs A global leading private investment firm is seeking an intellectual, and highly motivated Chief Financial Officer to provide planning and oversight of all the financial activities of the company s real estate investments. The ideal candidates should lead by example and emphasize the importance of providing high levels of efficiency, productivity, and thorough production. Responsibilities:

• Oversee, direct, and ensure the integrity, preparation, and timely submission of the company s internal and external financial statements.
• Closely track cash flow and execute monthly funding to the properties.
• Prepare debt schedules on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy of interest payments and loan balances
• Prepares accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for all company operations including property level financial reporting, variance analysis, and account reconciliations
• Review investor deliverables and be their resource in answering any questions
• Work directly with Property Management, Leasing, Asset Management, and Development teams
• Create and implement standard operating procedures and internal controls
• Oversee and direct the processing of all A/R and A/P (including but not limited to tenant billings, bank reconciliations, lease abstracting, mortgage statements/escrows)
• Closely monitor s financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances
• Directly manage and lead a finance department of 5-7 staff members
• Ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and are appropriate for planned growth
• Provide support for analytical and forecasting projects
• Assist with capital raising and investor reporting as needed as part of the investment committee
• Oversee the company s annual budgeting process.
• Coordinate with outside accountants regarding audit process and tax returns
  Experience and Skills Required:
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree with multiple years of in-house real estate experience with a focus on accounting/ finance, Masters preferred
  • CPA license preferred
  • Experience with accounting software including MRI and Yardi
  • Fluent in Spanish preferred
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills and present a professional image both in person and over the phone
  • Must be able to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and prioritize heavy workloads
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to complete time-sensitive projects
  • Meticulous eye for detail, accuracy, and high standards of presentation
  • Ability to anticipate and problem solve
