The primary purpose of this job is to be responsible for leading growth strategy and direct marketing analytics required for the development of PenFed's Consumer Banking portfolio (with focus on one or more lines of business, such as auto loans, student loans, or personal loans). This position will understand the overall vision and strategy for consumer banking products, to lead marketing analytics, direct data mining, targeted offer segmentation, campaign list generation, pricing/profitability analysis, and performance assessment. The incumbent will be responsible for timely and accurate direct data and financial analytics required to provide strategic insights directed at increasing market share.ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Lead all aspects of direct acquisition targeted marketing (pre-approval & ITA) analytics to drive applications, including but not limited to look-alike model implementation, targeted offering segmentation, target list generation, eligibility criteria selection, profitability analysis, and campaign performance. Develop and manage the effective test and learn approach, design the appropriate marketing campaign test and offer plan that would significantly increase EXISTING MEMBERS--- engagement across all phases of lifecycle, including acquisition, member onboarding cross-sell, and retention. Lead to develop sophisticated queries and work with credit bureaus and vendors to capture data critical, identify NON-MEMBERS opportunities, develop analytics and execute opportunities to increase and optimize marketable universe, offers. Extensive technical skills and be familiar with analytical tools such as SQL, Python/R and evaluate behavioral/demographic attributes and other internal and external data elements, to identify the profitable segments with high propensity for loan originations and develop programs to derive incremental accounts, loan originations, and balance growth. Provide campaign performance evaluations across all origination channels--- touchpoints, including direct mail, digital, mobile, call center, statements, and branch. Develop an effective A/B testing strategy and capable of using cash flow model to optimize marketing campaign. Demonstrate strong analytical skills, data mining skills and business intuition to provide business insights to group leaders and key partners. Interpret analytic findings and formulate recommendations to share with key decision makers. Clearly articulate findings and observations and make recommendations as appropriate. Work with Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing, Data Science Modeling, Credit Policy, Credit System, Finance, and external partners to evaluate, manage, and execute initiatives aimed at driving consumer banking portfolio growth.QualificationsEquivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelor---s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or a related field is required. Master---s Degree in a quantitative or a related field is highly preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in consumer lending industry (i.e., auto loans, student loans, personal loans, or credit cards) and business analytics including but not limited to marketing analytics, pricing analytics, profitability analytics, statistical analysis within a financial services environment. Minimum of one (1) years--- experience in direct acquisition marketing analytics (i.e., auto loans, student loans, personal loans, or credit cards), including but not limited to campaign segmentation, test design, target list generation, statistical analysis, performance evaluation, profitability, and product development within a financial services environment. Hands-on skills in R/Python, SQL, VBA, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and proficiency working with large dataset are required. Experience in statistical model development, validation, evaluation, and performance monitoring is preferred. Expertise in data Warehouse and business intelligence associated tools are preferred.
