Our Work Falls into Three Primary Categories: Leadership Coordinating and governing the response to Exam requests, bringing up critical concerns or delays to senior management and driving for timely remediation and well-documented closure of major issues Builds trust and credible partnerships with partners, provides thought leadership, and manages conflict resolution for successful outcomes Autonomously lead project execution with detailed project plans, expectations and schedule, and provide status reports, partner concern and impediment resolution when needed Operational Risk Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends Provides a risk lens to assist the business and facilitates conversations with examiners providing the bridge between process and risk and controls where needed Acts as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems Project Management Coordinating and governing the response to Exam requests, raising critical concerns or delays to senior management and driving for timely remediation and well-documented closure of major issues Autonomously lead project execution with documented project plans, expectations and schedule, and provide status reports, partner concern and impediment resolution when needed Qualifications Qualifications 8-10 years of related work experience and 2 years management experience within the financial services industry Ability to influence the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationships Has broad knowledge of Freddie Mac and financial management Excellent word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills Project management experience Strong analytic skills that can be applied across multiple subject areas Is adaptable to change Keys to Success in this Role Ability to work well with others and to empower and inspire action through charisma and communication skills Ability to forge strong working relationships at all levels Critical Thinking - ability to anticipate challenges and potential problems and to strategize about ways to improve future performance Responsiveness - ability to supervise, prioritize and action received requests in a timely manner and respond in a productive way that aligns with desired outcomes Drive for Execution - ability to (1) be accountable for strong individual and team performance, (2) treat obstacles as challenges to overcome, and (3) focus on results Ability to produce a large volume of accurate, timely work output with minimal guidance and tight timeframes Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
