Responsibilities The ideal candidate will demonstrate aptitude and proclivity for project management (PM), have experience identifying and addressing client needs, as well as familiarity with federal procurement including contracts and subcontracts. Specifically, experience is required with proactive participation in client priorities and supporting PM tasks such as managing project schedules, preparing communications, presentations, budgets, reports, and ensuring quality and accuracy of documents and analysis. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks in a fast-paced, integrated, client-facing work environment. The team demonstrates a relentless focus on the client and prides itself on providing creative solutions to client problems. Qualifications Required: * Minimum 2 years of experience * Experience with project management related to the Federal Government, consulting, loan programs and/or financial services * Detail-oriented with strong organization and self-management skills, willing to take initiative and follow through * Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities * Willingness and ability to train and support fellow team members, possessing proven abilities as a team player and a future team leader * Ability to keep leadership informed of progress and issues; providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff * Ability to understand, track, and report progress on technical systems and applications * Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences (including various levels of management and external clients) in a professional environment * Ability to provide candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner * Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment: understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members * Contribute to, and cultivate, a positive and balanced work environment by employing effective time management and a willingness to lend support to help balance workloads within the team * Maintain a sense of humor, humility, and humanity in the face of stress * Proficient in Microsoft products; particularly adept at Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of Microsoft Project Preferred: * Interest in federal credit or federal loan programs and/or payment processing * Familiarity or experience with Agile methodology * Experience with Change Management principles and techniques Additional Requirements * This position requires successful completion of a background check and employment verification as well as the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance * The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described Disclaimer About Guidehouse With a unique blend of large firm resources and an entrepreneurial collaborative culture, Guidehouse is where your purpose, passion, and expertise transforms organizations.
