Are you driven by influencing processes and achieving goals?--Challenger is currently seeking a Business Management Associate for our Arlington headquarters that will support the day-to-day management of our office as well as our recruiting function.--If you are an outgoing, self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to influence key internal processes, having multiple touchpoints across functions, and driving organizational culture and team engagement, we'd like to meet you.--RESPONSIBILITIES:Office ManagementFacilitates all aspects of the office administration to ensure processes and policies are in place to create a happy and professional environment for staff to come to each day. Serves as the main point of contact and coordinates with vendors to ensure office supply inventory levels are maintained.Supports Challenger's Culture Committee and Executive staff in organizing internal and external functions, such as special events, quarterly 'All Hands', happy hours, company volunteering events, holiday parties, game nights, etc.--to ensure appropriate setup. Talent Acquisition:Partners with the Talent Team and line management in the full life cycle recruiting process to identify, source, phone screen, interview, and manage candidates through the interviewing process to hire top talent and ensure that candidates have an exceptional experience.--Collaborates with and advises management, as necessary, to ensure a seamless hiring process aimed at building a talented and diverse candidate pipeline.----Assists in various recruiting activities, including career days, collecting and disseminating employer branded collateral, and in scheduling activities as necessary.Utilizes various Talent systems, including the Applicant Tracking System, to manage recruitment processes and onboard new hires.--Assists in the collection of data and preparation of various reports as necessary.Coordinates new-hire setup and onboarding. Ensures new employee set-up is done in advance of employee arriving (desk, badging, building parking, supplies, etc.); works closely with Talent Team to ensure everything is covered.KEY EXPERIENCE:2-3--years of administrative/office management experience, in a startup environment a plus.BA/BS degree in Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, in a fast-paced, agile office environment where priorities sometimes shift unexpectedly.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with Executive Team.Good business acumen, initiative, and the foresight to anticipate needs.Strong work ethic and attention to detail.Experience managing and negotiating with vendors a plus.Advanced computer skills.
