government forward! You Are: The SAP Architectural Runway Lead
Associate Director will lead the S/4HANA Architectural Runway
Functional Business Process capability for the organization. They
will develop and implement S/4HANA configurations across all the
foundational S/4 modules to include FICO, PSM, D&S, P2P, EVM,
AM, CM, and OM. They will also work with key stakeholders to
understand requirements, design business processes for financial
planning, consolidation, and period-end closing, and provide
S/4HANA Finance technology solutions. The SAP Architectural Runway
Lead Associate Director will build and ongoing maintenance of the
process capability and is responsible for leading complex business
and system analysis, design, and testing. The Work Lead and
coordinate functional team activities Provide guidance and
direction to the functional team, ensuring alignment with the
Universal Journal (ACDOCA) architecture and organizational fiscal
goals. Oversee the implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring they
meet business requirements for statutory reporting, tax compliance,
and internal controls. Collaborate with stakeholders to define
project scope, timelines, and deliverables, specifically focusing
on the transition from legacy structures to the S/4HANA functions.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous
improvement, encouraging the use of SAP Fiori for real-time
financial insights and "soft close" capabilities. Monitor and
report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
related to financial data migration and reconciliation of
historical balances. Ensure adherence to Accenture delivery
methodology, promoting efficient and effective project delivery.
Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring critical
integration points between B2R and other streams like Order to Cash
(O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) are seamless. Mentor and develop
team members, promoting skill growth in areas like Group Reporting,
Embedded Analytics, and Central Finance (CFIN) where applicable.
Stay informed about SAP updates (such as SAP Analytics Cloud for
Planning) and industry best practices to drive continuous
improvement in financial reporting. Here's What You Need: Bachelors
Degree or 10 years of industry experience Extensive experience in
SAP project management, demonstrating a deep understanding of SAP
S/4HANA Finance modules. Proven leadership skills, with a track
record of successfully managing multiple finance workstreams
through complex year-end or go-live cycles. In-depth knowledge of
delivery methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile/Scrum). Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate
with CFOs, Controllers, and technical stakeholders. Proficiency in
project planning, resource allocation, and risk management specific
to financial system transformations. Ability to align SAP B2R
project goals with broader business objectives, such as reducing
the time to close or improving cash flow visibility. Experience in
mentoring and developing team members to enhance their functional
configuration and business process knowledge. Demonstrated ability
to drive continuous improvement, such as implementing automated
clearing or advanced intercompany reconciliation. Familiarity with
SAP tools and technologies (e.g., S/4HANA, BRFplus, and SAP
Analytics Cloud), as well as a commitment to staying updated on
industry trends. Deep skills in one of the following SAP modules:
FICO, PSM, D&S, AM, QM, TM, EWM, P2P. Bonus Points If: Advanced
Degree 15 years of industry experience Motivated and proactive,

reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor
costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois,
Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York,
Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of
Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations
is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal
Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but
not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of
