Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist capable of producing new components from blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC Mill and CNC Lathe, as well as the ability to proficiently read and analyze blueprints. Mechanical skills for maintenance and general repair of machining equipment are essential, along with the ability to inspect work using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Responsibilities Produce new components from blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions. Operate CNC Mill and CNC Lathe machines. Read and analyze blueprints proficiently. Perform maintenance and general repair of machining equipment. Inspect work using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Handle routine lifting of up to 35 lbs. Travel may be required. Essential Skills Experience with CNC Mill and CNC Lathe. Proficiency in reading and analyzing blueprints. Mechanical skills for maintenance and general repair. Familiarity with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Ability to lift 35 lbs. routinely. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with welding is preferred but not required. Knowledge of CNC Mills, EDMW, NC saw, and primarily HURCO for CNC mills. Ability to perform complete setups and programs. Familiarity with G code; HURCO operates on a Conversational program base. Mastercam and AutoCAD lite experience is beneficial. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
