actively seeking former military technicians with experience in
electronics, avionics, instrumentation, or electrical systems. Your
hands-on training, discipline, and troubleshooting skills translate
directly into success in this Automation Technician role. You’ll
work with PLCs, automated equipment, and industrial control systems
while building a long-term career path in controls, engineering,
and management. Responsibilities · Install, maintain, and support
PLCs and automated equipment · Troubleshoot and diagnose control
system and electrical issues · Perform inspections and preventive
maintenance · Test, calibrate, and verify system functionality ·
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve performance ·
Document all maintenance and repair activities Key Responsibilities
· 3 years as an Automation or PLC Technician (military equivalent
accepted) · Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving
ability · Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and
blueprints · Drafting skills or the ability to create wiring
diagrams using PowerPoint, Sketchup or other programs. · Experience
with electrical systems and E&I · Comfortable using computers,
including Excel and Word · Ideal backgrounds include Navy ET, EM,
IC; Air Force Avionics; Army 91/94 series; USMC Ground Electronics;
Coast Guard ET/IT Skills, Knowledge and Expertise · Standard
schedule: typically, Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM in the office ·
Ability to travel and perform field work as needed · Valid driver’s
license and clean driving record · Strong attention to detail and
mission-focused work ethic · Ability to lift equipment and perform
physical tasks
