Engineering Continuous Improvement Leader The -Continuous Improvement -Leader -- -Engineering -will lead continuous improvement through refinement and implementation of processes which optimize costs, while ensuring the highest level of internal and external customer service. The CI Leader will display e xcellent organizational and communication skills while working in conjunction with the Quality Department to quickly address Engineering quality issues such as CARs (Corrective Action Reports), ISO 9001 non-conformances, etc.; seek feedback from Sales & Manufacturing to enhance service being provided, as well as collect and review data and suggestions from the Front-End Value Streams. The CI Leader will achieve results, adhere to customer requirements, and be responsible for continuous improvements using Lean tools and techniques while s haring process improvements with Mold-Masters engineering groups globally that support WCEE (World Class Engineering Excellence) vision. Mold-Masters - is a world-leading supplier of hot runner technology and systems. We design, manufacture, and support a full range of hot runner products that are used in the injection molding production of plastic products - from automotive to everyday consumer items.   • Develop and conduct audits pertaining to process specifications across Mold-Masters engineering operations and ensure compliance is maintained
  • Develop, implement, and introduce standards to enable improved reliability and standards
  • Design and facilitate on-going training programs on quality documentation and standards
  • Facilitate rapid evaluation, implementation and feedback of identified CI matter
  • Monitor and report on productivity, design output and design quality
  • Monitor and report on change management process as it relates to Engineering
  • Work on projects as assigned to develop relevant KPI's, prepare ROI analyses in support of CI efforts and further WCEE
  • Other duties may be assigned Travel:
    • Required to attend company-sponsored Due Diligence training Basic Requirements:
      • (3-5 years) Experience in the Injection Molding/ Mold Making industry
      • (3-5 years) Experience in Industrial Engineering
      • (1+ years) Experience with Project Management
      • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
      • Reading and interpreting documents such as process documentation and procedure manuals
      • Advanced level of knowledge and experience of process improvement tools (such as Lean Manufacturing or 6 Sigma) Great to Haves :
        • (1+ years) Prior Leadership experience
        • Demonstrated process mapping and process improvement capability
        • Ability to be a self-starter, work in a fast-paced environment and be results driven
        • Proficient with MS Office
