IBM Senior Security Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) Engineer in
Washington , District Of Columbia IntroductionInformation and Data

IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and
implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will
apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling
and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions

business in the world.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior
Security Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) Engineer position will be
a member of a dedicated security team within IBM Consulting
Federal. In this role, the Sr. Security NGFW Engineer will support
a dedicated 24x7x365 operation for a federal program. Highly
skilled multi-disciplined individual with project management skills
to join us as a lead support engineer. This Person will be working
in a fast-paced environment on a diverse set of technologies like
Azure, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Arista to name a few. The ideal
candidate would have expertise in hybrid platforms (cloud and
on-prem), networking, virtualization, and security.Required
Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 6 years of experience
on Palo Alto Firewall Administration & Engineering experience.At
least 4 years of experience of Palo Alto Networks security
solutions covering Wildfire, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, &
SSL Decryption.At least 4 years of experience with Panorama
management system.At least 3 years of experience with Palo Alto
Global Protect & Global Protect Cloud Services.At least 6 years of
experience in Planning, Deploying, Operating and Troubleshooting
Palo Alto Firewalls.At least 4 years of experience in network
design & hands-on support of enterprise IP Networks.At least 5
years of experience in OS Upgrade for Palo Alto firewalls &
Panorama appliance.Solid understanding of Azure Cloud.Strong
Networking background.Preferred Technical and Professional
ExpertiseCASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED,
GCIHUnderstanding and experience with Federal Security Standards
such as NIST and DoDUnderstanding and experience with FedRAMP Cloud

full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary

hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during
