Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Professional Engineer to serve
our government, industrial, and commercial clients from our
Ashland, Virginia Office.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and
experience in Water Resources/Environmental engineering
including:
Water and wastewater systems engineering
Project management of water/wastewater design/build projects (all
phases)
Stormwater hydrology/hydraulics
Stormwater BMP design and management.
Proficiency using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/ArcGIS to prepare site designs
and construction plan sets is desired, as well as experience with
hydrologic/hydraulic models. Experience with client/project
management and on-call services contracts is a plus.

Excellent writing skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness and an ability to travel and stay overnight
Acceptable motor vehicle record
Experience in project and task management and budgeting
Experience in design and construction oversight
Education and Experience
B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related
field.
Minimum 7 years' experience in Environmental Engineering/Water
Resources Consulting
Candidate must have their Virginia P.E. license
