Job Details:

Candidate will work in a cooperative team environment with cross functional teams to develop and verify embedded Radio Communication Systems solutions in FPGA firmware. Candidate will be required to analyze requirements, architect FPGA designs, and design FPGA based signal processing solutions for radio communication systems.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to analyze system requirements and architect FPGA based processing solutions based on requirements the latest FPGA digital technology.
• Experience implementing complex modem and/or DSP circuits in programmable logic using FPGA devices. Equivalent experience in ASIC design is also applicable.
• Broad experience in embedded system design and solutions for communications systems.
• Achitect, Implement, and verify complex signal processing algorithms in FPGAs and Software
• Perform detailed analysis including requirements analysis, use case scenarios, conceptual design, trade studies, test, operation, and maintenance of radio communications products.
• Comfortable working in a LINUX based FPGA development environment
• Work with cross functional teams as needed to define and refine design requirements and implement.
• Assist in development of high-level and detailed verification test plans consistent with system requirements and specifications
• Prepare design and implementation reviews. Present technical briefings and status to internal and external customers. Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Working knowledge and experience in testing and debugging of MODEM RF Designs
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and debug FPGA firmware and related hardware issues
    • Experience with MatLab, Simulink or similar DSP modelling tools
    • Working knowledge of Ethernet Standard and design experience related to Ethernet packet processing.
      • Highly Proficient in FPGA/ASIC development using VHDL or Verilog
      • Experience in FPGA/ASIC verification using SystemVerilog
      • Expertise implementing signal processing algorithms in FPGAs
      • Proven ability to create SDC based constraints for high speed FPGA designs
      • Experience with FPGA Vendor Specific FPGA Implementation tools(Vivado/Quartus)
      • Expertise in communication system signal processing theory and waveform design
      • Ability to work efficiently with remotely located teams and co-workers
      • Motivated, self-starter, who works well in team environments.
