Job Description:

The Stevie Awards Inc., located in Fairfax, VA -is looking for a technical writer to create an RFP that we can send to web developers who are interested in creating our new backend administrative system. The administrative system is where we host Stevie Awards entrants' nominations and where we store judges' comments and scores. We also send emails, manage event tickets, manage voting, and more.
We have already developed a list of system requirements, and we need a technical writer to clearly state what we are looking for in the admin system, and how each web page should function.
The writer will develop the definitive documentation and diagrams of our administrative system that puts the technical information into context relative to how our platform is designed to be used. We're envisioning a process where we'll engage with you to spend time familiarizing yourself with our current platform(s) and the new one we are envisioning, reach out to us with questions as needed, and write and create requirements and diagrams.
We envision this to be a two-to-three-month project. You must have experience writing technical proposal documents.
