Meet our professionals CGI: A place to build an IT career Position Description: Seeking a Business Process Re-engineering Specialist to support Information Technology (IT) initiatives in healthcare and federal grants arena. The initiatives include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to enable organizations to operate and maintain enterprise systems in response to various legislative, policy, management, and technology changes. The outcomes enable the organization to strengthen its program management and operations in support of its mission to improve and achieve health equity. Your future duties and responsibilities: Applies process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Responsible for effective transitioning of existing project teams and the facilitation of project teams to accomplish the project activities and objectives. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer. Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of re-engineering efforts.* Manage use of process improvement, reengineering methodologies, and internet-related methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Define project activities and objectives through improved use of internet and other automated processes. * Support activity and data modeling, development of modern business methods, identification of best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements.* Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.* Key coordinator between customers and multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts and application of best practice including e-business practices. May provide daily supervision and direction to other contractor business reengineering specialists and web architects.* Support development of system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.* Assist in material development, business process reengineering, business case analyses, and organization and product assessments.* Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Candidate must be very proactive and comfortable working directly with users and operating in a fast paced and ever changing environment. Candidates should possess excellent customer service, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently as well as* Knowledge of ITIL and Continual Service Improvement Concepts* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Must demonstrate experience with federal grants lifecycle and business processes reengineering. * Must be familiar with agile development and business processes re-engineering Desired Qualifications Demonstrated, hands-on experience with one or more of the following: * Microsoft products such as Word, Power Point , Excel* SharePoint , Confluence Wiki, JIRA, contour Knowledge of:* BI solutions* SQL Server Reporting Services #CGIFederalJob Skills:* Business Process Reengineering* Confluence* ITIL* Jira* Microsoft Office* Microsoft Sharepoint* SSRS What you can expect from us: Build your career with us.
