Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

Special Education Teacher to support elementary students within a
K-12 school setting. This contract position is designed for the
current school year and is located in Waynesboro, VA. The role
involves working closely with students requiring specialized
instruction and tailored educational plans to foster their academic
growth and social development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for elementary
students with special needs. Collaborate with general education
teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as
needed. Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance
with school policies. Participate in team meetings and professional
development opportunities. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally within an
elementary classroom setting. Knowledge of special education laws,
regulations, and best practices. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging, student-centered
learning environments. Certification or licensure relevant to
