New Story Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement innovative curriculum and provide supportive learning experiences to ensure our students can thrive both within and beyond classroom borders. Prepare and deliver individualized instructional materials and experiences suited to students with special needs. Implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) for each student, ensuring personalized attention towards their educational goals. Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and school psychologists to promote student growth and well-being. Assess students’ progress and adjust teaching plans accordingly. Develop a nurturing learning environment that encourages social and academic development. Proficiency in tailored curriculum development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with classroom management and instructional techniques Ability to assess student performance and adapt teaching strategies Knowledge of special education laws and best practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State Teaching Certification in Special Education CPR and First Aid certification preferred
