New Story Schools seeks a dedicated School Teacher adept in managing classroom activities and providing specialized instruction tailor-made for children with special needs. This role demands deep empathy, understanding, and the ability to adapt educational content to meet each student's unique learning requirements. By fostering an encouraging and supportive environment, our educators help students achieve both educational and social milestones, positively impacting their lifelong learning journey. Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences developed for special needs students Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligning with curriculum objectives specific for special needs education Assess and record student's development, while identifying areas needing improvement Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities Provide appropriate feedback on work, encouraging student development and growth Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by school regulations Prepare required reports on students and activities Participate in department, school, and parent meetings Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to develop teaching materials and assessments Ability to engage students and manage classroom dynamics effectively Deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with special needs Flexibility and creativity in instructional methods Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State Teaching Certification Special Education Certification (if available in your state)
