Job Description:

The Inova Nursing Professional Development Department is seeking a PRN Clinical Instructor to educate the Clinical Technicians and EMTs for the Inova Health System.
Clin Tech Academy hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
On-site PRN Schedule: M - F (4 to 8 hours a day based on education content); days vary.
Job location: Falls Church, VA (Northern VA). The RN Clin Tech/EMT Instructor orients, educates, and develops employees to assure staff competence and staff's ability to fulfill specified responsibilities. Provides assistance with curriculum and program design and coordinates educational programs to promote career progression. Supports the creation and maintenance of a learning environment for Inova. Engages actively in self-development to support expertise in the department and quality in the practice setting. Additional opportunity to assist with IV skills training for RNs.

Additional Requirements-Three years of progressive experience in an acute care clinical setting.-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.-Ability to facilitate clinical based employee training in a classroom setting so as to improve clinical outcomes.
-Relevant teaching experience preferred. For example: in a clinical setting or a school of nursing.
-BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.-Licensed Registered Nurse.
