Job Description:
The Excalibur Group is currently seeking Teachers specialized in
behavorial health -in Washington, DC -to support a local
contract.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate ability to work with
children ages Prekindergarten/4 (age 4) through Third Grade.
Demonstrate ability to learn non-directive play techniques,
document services and contacts provided, and data entry of
teachers' responses to the Teacher-Child Rating Scale-Short Form
(student assessment for the Primary Project) using Comet
Informatics, the data reporting system used with the Primary
Project Program. Attend mandatory trainings, Individual Monitoring
Sessions and weekly, mandatory Group. Monitoring Meetings with the
Primary Project Program Manager; Meetings will be in-person and/or
virtual and contractor will be notified of the meeting
schedule.Demonstrate proficiency in using electronic progress
notes, desktop, laptop, email, internet and any other form of
technology to perform related job; Any computer equipment required
will be provided by the agency. Maintain a caseload of 20-30
students showing competency with Primary Project play session
techniques, complete required documentations and work closely with
teachers, administrators, parents/guardians and agency clinicians
at assigned sites
-REQUIREMENTS
Possess a minimum of a high school
diploma or GED equivalent.A minimum of two years of hands-on
experience, preferably in a school or childcare setting. Must pass
a Criminal Background Check.Complete initial and/or annual alcohol
and drug screening (urinalysis). Possess at the time of response
knowledge in MS Office and the ability to use (Excel and Microsoft
Word).Ability to learn the data management system which is utilized
for Primary Project. Ability to pass a proficiency quiz on Play
Session Techniques and the Teacher-Child Rating Scale-Short
Form.Demonstrate the ability to lift the Toy Bin that weighs
approximately 10-20 lbs. and the ability to walk-up flights of
stairs. Must prove Negative TB (TINE) test results.Maintain
compliance with Business Casual Dress Requirement; Adhere to rules
regarding Body Piercings; Must have good communication skills.

Mon. - Fri. 8:30-5pmOnsite position
