Job Description:

The American Society of Nephrology (ASN)-which represents more than 20,000 physicians, researchers, nurses, and other health professionals dedicated to creating a world without kidney diseases-seeks a full-time Graphic Design Associate. -Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, the Graphic Design Associate will create digital and print marketing materials for social media, websites, and other platforms. The ideal candidate will have the technical ability to produce items across all media channels and the communication skills to work with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.Qualified candidates will:

• Design and execute creative print materials and digital marketing assets including web and mobile landing pages, social content, and ads.
  • Develop creative ideas from conception to implementation.
  • Update and redesign presentations and marketing materials as needed.
    • Work in a cross-team environment to develop and implement marketing promotions and communications initiatives for ASN activities.
    • Effectively manage multiple and shifting deadlines and changes in priorities within a fast-paced environment.
    • Accept other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position and area.

      • One to three years of experience in graphic design. - -
      • Knowledgeable of Adobe design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
      • Familiarity with design techniques and knowledge of basic design principles.
      • Proficiency in using technology to organize and execute projects (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
      • Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time management skills.
      • Collaborative skills to work effectively with colleagues, and other departments.
      • Strong written and oral communication skills.
      • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven department, managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
