1st Shift ) Job Description The Materials Handler plays a critical
role in supporting production by ensuring materials are safely and
efficiently moved, organized, and available when needed. This
position involves operating material-handling equipment,
maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping work areas clean and
compliant with safety standards. Additionally, the role includes
assisting with fire prevention tasks within the EHS department. The
ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced
environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and can work
under time constraints to meet production goals. Responsibilities
Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts,
pallet jacks, and other equipment. Pull and stage materials
accurately for production based on work orders and schedules.
Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records to ensure
proper stock levels. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming
materials in designated storage areas. Maintain a clean and
organized workspace, including docks and loading zones. Adhere to
all safety guidelines, company procedures, and proper equipment
operation standards. Assist with preparing finished products for
shipment. Perform daily cleaning tasks around machines to reduce
fire hazards. Maintain 6S standards to support overall facility
organization. Empty swarf hoppers and ensure bins are properly
saturated throughout the shift. Conduct weekly pressure washing of
grinders and motor faces. Assist with machine cleanouts in confined
spaces. Essential Skills Forklift experience (2 years is
preferred). Basic computer skills and ability to read work orders
and schedules. Comfortable in confined spaces (like cleaning out an
oven). Proficiency with basic hand tools. Organizational skills.
Team player. Self-starter. Safety oriented. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience with material handling equipment. Ability
to deburr and use industrial cleaning tools. Experience with
inventory management. Familiarity with power tools and tape

Environment This is a warehouse and production environment
operating Monday through Friday on the 1st shift. The facility is
not climate-controlled and can become very hot. This is a
team-oriented position where everyone works together to achieve
common goals. Once fully trained, employees will not be
micromanaged, and the daily schedule allows for some flexibility.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required and provided,
including metatarsal shoes, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves,
hearing protection, hard hat, and chemical-resistant metatarsal
boots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position
based out of WASHINGTON, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for
this position is $19.63 - $19.63/hr. Eligibility requirements apply
to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and
length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
