Crown’s Food Division is the number one manufacturer of food cans
in the world. Our complete array of food packaging serves a variety
of markets, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, meat, ready
meals, pet food, infant milk powder and other dry food products. We
offer a wide selection of food cans from round to bowl as well as
shaped cans. We truly focus on excellence. Here is your chance to
join the Crown Food Division. \n\n Location: \n\n Plant 37 is
located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece
steel cans for the food industry over 7 shifts. There are
approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Plant is
located on Route 194 in York County and is in close proximity to
Gettysburg PA, York PA and the Maryland border. \n\n Position
overview: \n\n The Electrical Technician will provide support to
plant operations through troubleshooting, performing maintenance,
repairing and installing of equipment, electrical systems and
components. This position works on a rotational four on four off
12-hour schedule. This opening will be scheduled 5pm-5am. The
starting rate of pay is $38.5006 with an additional $2 an hour
shift differential. \n\n Duties And Responsibilities: \n\n
Reporting directly to the Electrical Engineer, the Electrical
Technician’s responsibilities would include, but not be limited to,
the following: \n\n \n\t Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical
systems and devices within the plant \n\t Knowledge and solid
understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)\n\t \n\t\t Edit
PLC programming \n\t\t Diagnose component issues \n\t \n\t \n\t
Assist in new installations and upgrades of plant equipment \n\t
Conduct process checks as required \n\t Perform regular safety
inspections to ovens \n\t Work with and lead outside contractors as
needed to complete projects or various plant maintenance functions
\n\t Keep work area safe, clean and organized \n\t Assist and
support other production floor operations as required \n\t Keep
Manufacturing Supervisors and Manufacturing Managers informed of
operational status of equipment. \n\t Complete all administrative
tasks, including logbooks, data entry and record keeping in proper
order; and \n\t Perform other job-related duties as assigned \n\t

essential functions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: \n\n Minimum Requirements
\n\n \n\t High School Diploma or GED \n\t 6 -10 years manufacturing
experience \n\t Ability to work overtime or weekends if necessary
(for projects) \n \n\n \n\t Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) \n\t Mechanical aptitude
\n\t Knowledge of variable speed drives (programming and set-up)
\n\t Experience with high pressure hydraulics and pneumatics \n\t
Experience with automated material handling systems \n\t Ability to
read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manuals \n\t
Experience troubleshooting magnetic controls (e.g. switches, relays
and solenoids) \n\t Knowledge and experience terminating
transformers and electric motors \n\t Demonstrated understanding
and knowledge of OSHA’s electrical safe work practices (e.g.
Lock-out/Tag-out, NFPA 70 Electrical Code, NFPA 79 Machinery
Standards) \n\t Demonstrate knowledge of basic troubleshooting and
calibration for electronics \n\t Basic knowledge of servo and
stepper motors and drives \n\t Experience with installing and
fashioning electrical conduit and installing electrical wireway and
associated hangers \n\t Able to use DVM, analog type multi-meter,
Amprobe, megger, oscilloscope and soldering station FB \n \n\n
Preferred Requirements \n\n \n\t Associate’s Degree in Electrical
Technology or Journeyman’s card \n\t Ability to work with minimal
supervision \n\t Experience programming and setting up Allen
Bradley PLCs\n\t \n\t\t Logix 5000 based systems \n\t\t SLC 500
\n\t\t PLC-5 \n\t \n\t \n\t Experience with HMI Programming and
set-up\n\t \n\t\t Rockwell PV and PV \n\t\t Automation Direct,
C-More Touch Panels \n\t \n\t \n\t Knowledge of PLC Network
programming and set-up\n\t \n\t\t DeviceNet \n\t\t Ethernet IP \n\t
\n\t \n \n\n Physical Requirements \n\n \n\t While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit,
stand, walk, use hands, reach, and may be required to balance,
stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl \n\t The employee may lift and or
move up to 50 lbs. \n\t The employee would stand and/or sit for
8-12 hour shifts \n \n\n Working Conditions \n\n \n\t Generally
works in a plant environment \n\t While performing the duties of
this job, the employee will be exposed to light lifting, warehouse
and forklift traffic \n\t Production noise level is frequently loud
