Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
Candidate

creates internal and external CBRE FLAG marketing pieces for property

marketing, FLAG communication and PR. Candidate also conducts on-going research

regarding federal leasing, budgeting and other topics related to FLAG business,

tracks GSA leases in process and maintains database regarding completed federal

leases, completes FLAG initiated custom research projects in coordination with the

CBRE research team, and interfaces with the CBRE research team to support the

companys general market research efforts. Candidate will also assist group

members in producing proposals and presentation materials and provide general

administrative support.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

--

Interface

with third party vendors for printing, binding, signage and graphics

--

Coordinate

with marketing on client proposal materials and FLAG marketing materials

--

Maintain

standard FLAG and corporate marketing materials

--

Prepare

and organize standard marketing packages to support FLAG marketing efforts

--

Coordinate

with research on current market trends and deals (tenants in the market and

comps)

--

Research

government real estate matters (including lease to owned space relocation)

--

Track

Government real estate deals from federal sources including the federal budget,

Congressional committee actions, on-line published notices, etc.

--

Collect

and manage research data and recommend analytical reports and white papers

--

Submit

and track FOIA requests

--

Conduct

research and produce unique federal real estate research pieces

--

Assist

in proposal preparation and production for federal lease pursuits

--

Write,

proof and edit letters, documents, forms and related materials

--

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2-year college required. 3 years experience providing administrative support to multiple or team of professionals; ability to determine and respond to conflicting priorities preferred. 2 years experience in the Real Estate industry.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

None.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, coworkers and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Ability to abstract a lease.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, internet research and web publishing skills. Ability to manipulate basic templates in Power Point and/or InDesign preferred. Strong marketing knowledge needed.


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
