Robot with multiple indications. A high-growth medical device
company is adding several strategic marketing roles to their
product management team. Their minimally invasive surgical robotics
products are used to diagnose difficult-to-detect cancers. The
product is accurate even with very small lesions and has a strong
safety profile. They---ve successfully launched their first product
in the space and have multiple new indications and product launches
coming up in the next few years. In this role, you---ll drive
portfolio management and new product development for this
portfolio. The product has cap equipment, disposables, software and
case planning tools. The company is agile, marketing leads the
product development and the role is broadly defined. This role will
involve routine exposure with senior leadership, coaching and
mentoring opportunities and strong career development. The
Opportunity: In this Associate Director role, you---ll work closely
with R&D/engineering to design, develop and launch products.
You will own VOC activities and discover unmet needs in the clinic.
You will build business cases for multiple diagnostic and treatment
indications and present to senior leadership. You---ll also work on
blue sky long-range portfolio strategy to evaluate the technology
for other disease states. If you---re someone with a technical
background who enjoys working cross functionally with engineering,
R&D and marketing, this is a good fit role. You---ll focus on
analytics, forecasting, modelling the market, segmentation and
opportunity assessment. You---ll work in cross-functional teams
with marketing, sales, medical affairs, regulatory and other
departments. This role reports into the Head of Product Management;
the team is small and the culture rewards innovation and
performance. The hiring manager has a proven track record of
developing, coaching and mentoring strategic marketers.
Qualifications 8 years of upstream marketing and pipeline planning
experience in the Medical Device or Diagnostic industries
Bachelor---s degree or better in Engineering or the Life Sciences;
MBA preferred A desire to work in a small, fast-paced environment
where the teams are lean and decisions are made quickly They offer

and a significant equity package. The HQ location is in the SF Bay
Area; this position can be worked in a hybrid-remote work
arrangement from anywhere in the Western US with regular HQ
travel.
