In this role, you will maintain communications policies and procedures, as well as utilize various mediums, such as email, teleconferences, and/or newsletter to ensure effective communication. Job Description THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE Responsibilities As a member of the Marketing and Communications (M&C) Front Office team, The Marketing and Communications - Senior Associate will deliver on the following responsibilities for the M&C division Drive a clear and effective communications plan to keep the division engaged and well-informed on key priorities/topics Plan and coordinate divisional forums and partner with a cross-functional team to execute engagement activities to drive connections and collaboration (All-Hands and other information-sharing events) Partner with CoS to support executive visibility efforts that may include developing talking points, overseeing logistics for speaking engagement, and deck creation Write, prepare, and/or review messaging to be used across various company platforms including internal SharePoint site and Teams Channel Collaborate with business units and teams to support cross-divisional visibility and awareness Examine employee survey feedback and voice of customer to problem solve and create communications tactics Project management support across employee-based initiatives as needed (D&I program, training) Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences 2 years Desired Experiences Bachelor degree or equivalent Skills Skilled in creating visual concepts, copy editing, and managing content Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives Experience defining and managing changes to documents, websites, and other files to enable collaboration and ensure teams are working from the latest version Skilled in Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc. Experience in Communication Planning including developing schedule, format, content, and method by which messaging is delivered to specific audience Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion Skilled in managing and cultivating relationships including engagement with stakeholders, customers, and vendors Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal Skilled in Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS Tools Skilled in Excel Experience using SharePoint Skilled in Microsoft Teams Skilled in Teams Live Skilled in PowerPoint Skilled in using OneNote Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat including Adobe Pro, Acrobat Reader, Acrobat, and Acrobat.com Skilled in using a CMS to manage the creation and modification of digital content Experience using Sync Additional Information In response to COVID-19, Fannie Mae has adapted our workplace and hiring processes to better safeguard our employees, candidates, and new hires.
