Position Summary:
If you seek to become engaged in purposeful work that will have a
far-reaching impact, the American Physical Society (APS) provides
the environment you are looking for. As the Staff Writer/Copyeditor
you will help tell APS's story to a variety of audiences through
written communications about programs, initiatives, events, and
other developments of interest to the physics community. The
position also edits copy produced by others that flows through the
communications department.
The APS has a "remote first" concept that promotes equal treatment

majority of staff working primarily from remote work locations.
This position could require at times in office work, various
geographic events and meeting attendance as instructed by your
