Effective January 2023, Freddie Mac's hybrid work arrangement is 3 days in the office (specifically Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).Position Overview:Freddie Mac's Enterprise Risk Management Division is currently seeking a Quantitative Risk Analysis Sr resource to join the Enterprise Model Risk Department. The Enterprise Model Risk Department is responsible for model risk oversight including development, validation, implementation and monitoring across multiple risk types (credit risk, market risk, counterparty risk, etc.). This resource will evaluate and manage risks associated with the implementation of the company's models, applications and end user computing tools (EUCs). Apply now and learn why there's !Our Impact:The Enterprise Model Risk Team - Central implementation oversees and validates the correct technical implementation of Corporate Models, Applications and End User Computing tools (EUCs). As a critical function of our Second Line of Defense, this ensures that our business divisions make sound decisions using dimensionally accurate data.Your Impact:Validation of Model/EUC ImplementationEvaluate implementation risks related to models and EUCs.Make expert recommendations to senior management and advise them on implementation issues.Report findings and ensure those findings are addressed appropriately and timely.Prepare implementation validation documentation in compliance with all applicable standards and procedures.Manage validation projects in model/EUC inventory system collaboratively with model/EUC owners and users.Remediate regulatory findings and address oversight issues.Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure effective management of implementation risk.Work collaboratively with other validators to ensure timely delivery of implementation validation projects.Qualifications:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with 3-5 years of related work experience in quantitative finance, software development, or data analysis.Experience with two or more of C/C++, Java, Python, R, SAS, SQL, Unix/Linux, GIT.Experience in software development process and software testing.Solid understanding of risk, credit, and the mortgage life cycle.
