Apply to join Freddie Mac's growing Human Resources division as our newest Employee Relations Advisor, Professional and learn why there's !Your Impact:Advice & CounselingAdvising and counseling HR and people managers on a broad range of topics, including hiring, compensation, promotion, performance management, disability and religious accommodations, leave, reductions-in-force, terminations, severance pay, and employee relations policies.Developing and facilitating interactive, scenario-based employee relations training to people managers and other employees.Informal ResolutionsResolving non-EEO complaints, issues and concerns regarding employment practices originating from various sources and make recommendations to management for action. Partnering with Legal on escalations of EEO-related matters.ReportingCreating and providing employee relations reporting, trend analysis and recommendations for the HR Business Partner team, proactive identification of issues and risks.Qualifications:2 - 4 years of related experienceCollege Degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 2+ years of proven experience working in a role that offers comparable experienceUnderstanding of federal, state & local employment lawsExperience advising, counseling, and making recommendations to management on a broad range of HR related mattersProficient in Microsoft office applications such as Excel and WordSHRM or HRCI certification preferredKeys to Success in this Role:Strong consultation & communication skillsProactive identification of employee relations issues and risksAbility to balance multiple, often conflicting, matters in a timely mannerDeep curiosity to learnCollaborative & collegial in working with otherCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
