Overview We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Deputy Chief Financial Officer within our Finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance you will: ensure professional and ethical financial practices and a cohesive finance service offering across all Divisions that is aligned with business strategy, and to ensure that COMPANY Program goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with FCC rules. Responsibilities Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer will serve as a thought leader to provide financial and strategic support to the senior management team in order to make sound decisions on issues affecting the COMPANY Programs. Among others, your responsibilities will include the following: Engage with the VP Finance & CFO in the planning, development, organizing, implementation and evaluation of the organization's fiscal function and performance. Collaborate with the VP Finance & CFO in developing solutions to challenges impact COMPANY and USAC. Participate in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action. Provide updated and frequent financial and budgeting insights and analysis to the VP Finance & CFO and senior management team. Create dashboards and other tools to clearly articulate the organization's financial position and goals to senior staff and leadership. Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals. Provide timely and accurate financial reports and financial trends in order to support the VP Finance & CFO, CEO, and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs. Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position. Other specific duties as assigned. About You The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment, and will be crucial for the success of the Finance Division. You have Bachelor Degree (Master Degree strongly preferred) and advanced relevant technical training and certifications. You have 8 to 10 years’ of directly related experience. You have 5 to 7 years’ of management and business leadership experience. You have budgetary Accounting knowledge and Federal Financial Management experience. You have large systems, ERP, implementation experience. You have previous experience managing large teams of professional staff. You have in-depth knowledge of GAAP standards for financial reporting. You have detailed knowledge of and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). You have strong leadership skills featuring a transparent, collaborative style, along with demonstrated experience leading teams to excellent results. You have highly strategic mindset, including the ability to set a vision for the finance function within a large organization and execute on it. You have strong organizational and financial management skills and excellent budgeting and business planning skills. You have demonstrated ability to think strategically in seizing opportunities, accessing risks, streamlining systems, and reducing expenses. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to connect with and present to a variety of stakeholders including staff, senior management team, clients and lenders. The following are supervisory responsibilities: You have developed performance metrics. You have evaluated staff performance. You have provided guidance and oversight to staff. You have established and managed staff projects and task priority. You have conducted and/or implemented training sessions and other forms of learning tools. The following skills are desired: You have a Master Degree is strongly preferred.
