Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a locally based consulting firm in the search for a Billing Specialist to join their growing team. This role will report to the Billing Manager and will be responsible for the full-cycle invoicing process. Due to the high invoice volume associated with this role, candidates with prior billing experience in fast paced fields, such as the legal industry or in government contracting, will be given preference. Candidates must be comfortable communicating both across teams internally and with external clients regarding billing related issues. Essential Duties: Generate and issue accurate client invoices in accordance with contract terms and company procedures Review billing data for accuracy and completeness prior to submission Collaborate with internal teams to verify billable hours, project codes, and supporting documentation Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Submit invoices via electronic billing platforms (e.g., Bill.com, Aderant, Legal Tracker, Deltek Costpoint, etc.), as applicable Maintain up-to-date billing records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes Reconcile billing accounts and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities Track receivables and assist in following up on past due balances when needed Prepare reports and summaries for internal departments and management Assist with special projects related to billing, pricing, and reporting as assigned Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
