Staff Accountant - Maryland Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a reputable and growing organization in Maryland in their search for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to key financial operations, including reconciliations, reporting, and the month-end and year-end close processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts regularly Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and the preparation of financial schedules Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis Maintain and update fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and related documentation Prepare documentation and respond to audit inquiries in coordination with external auditors Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
