Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant with financial background to keep our financial information up to date. You'll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

--- Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
--- Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
--- Properly record financial transactions
--- Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
--- Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
--- Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with direct reports for collections
--- Supervise the payment process to vendors and subcontractors
--- Monitor daily cash balances to ensure requirements are met

Qualifications:

--- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
--- Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
--- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
--- Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
--- Min 3 years of experience (construction preferred)
