Based in the Washington, District of Columbia region, this Bookkeeper role would be a short-term contract / temporary position.
How you will make an impact

• 
  Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  
  
• 
  Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  
  
• 
  Settle accounts by reconciling entries
  
  
• 
  Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
  
  
• 
  Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
  
  
• 
  Preside over and review general ledger
  
  
• 
  Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits Requirements - Prior experience using accounting software
  
  
• 
  Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
  
  
• 
  BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  
  
• 
  Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
  
  
• 
  Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
  
  
• 
  Code Invoices experience preferred
