  • Be a valuable member of the sales team working with Public Sector Federal salespeople who will position you as the expert on how the Diligent GRC HighBond Solution can be used to improve and modernize the Federal Agency reporting process
  • Convey your professional experience in public sector performing audit, A-123, governance, risk or compliance work using legacy tools / processes and add valuable insights on how adopting a new SaaS Platform can improve outcomes
  • Help relate the value drivers of a modern GRC solution to end users and senior executives in Federal Agencies and how adopting the Diligent GRC HighBond Solution will lead to their positive business outcomes and mission goals
  • Directly support the Public Sector Sales and Product Marketing Teams to customize the sales and marketing motion to focus on the unique characteristics of the Public Sector Federal audience.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and product technical expertise to support customer sales cycles
  • Represent Diligent as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at government centered conferences, including thought leadership roles, participating on panels, and working groups, evangelizing the Diligent GRC Solutions
  • You will author / co-author white papers and thought leadership marketing materials (blogs, posts, articles, analyst reports) to raise brand awareness in the Public Sector
  • Collaborate within the Diligent ecosystem of Solution Consultants, Solution Architects and Client Partners to develop, design, or enhance Federal specific use cases and translate these into referenceable demo environments for prospects and strategic customers


    Required Experience/Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or information systems
    • 5+ years previous experience working at a Federal Agency performing Audit, OMB A-123, Governance, Risk or Compliance work
    • 2+ years previous experience in a client facing consulting role with a B2B SaaS organization or consulting firm a strong plus but not required
    • Strong customer facing presentation and business problem solving skills
    • Hands on understanding of the project workflow requirements commonly performed for audit, risk and compliance from an end user and executive perspective, with the ability to identify the risks and challenges of the current process and recommend / demonstrate how adopting the modern software tool HighBond would improve their outcomes
    • Passion for process improvement and helping public sector organizations with their modernization journey
    • Confidence in presenting modernization tools, concepts, and recommendations in sales situations to end users and executives in support of the sales team
    • Knowledge of the Audit, Inspector General, OMB A-123, Governance, Risk or Compliance landscape
    • Strong skill set using Microsoft suite (particularly Excel) required
    • Knowledge of BI, Machine learning and SQL
    • The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
    • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
    • Strong communication, both written and verbal


      Preferred Experience/Skills

      • CPA, CISA, CISSP, or a risk management designation is a strong asset
      • History using ACL Software or HighBond
      • Programming language (e.g., Python)
      • Management responsibilities are a strong plus
      • Aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how it can improve business processes
