has a staff of nearly 70 headquartered in Washington, DC. In the
coming years we have a bold vision to dramatically scale our
impact. In early 2022 we will be opening the first ever Global
Headquarters for Women's Leadership, a 30,000+ sq. ft. historic
building just blocks from the White House on 16th Street. It will
be a hub of activity, events, and collaborations - bringing
together women leaders and their allies to tackle the world's
greatest challenges. - -Summary: -We are seeking a talented
professional with strong logistic and administrative skills to join
the Vital Voices team as the Executive Assistant to the President &
CEO, Alyse Nelson. This dynamic position would be responsible for
providing comprehensive support to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team,
Board of Directors, and the organization's overall operations. As
the primary point of contact for all executive matters, the
Executive Assistant would assist in implementing key high-level
projects and opportunities such as the opening of our new building,
our podcast, and acting as liaison for our dynamic Board of
Directors. - -The Executive Assistant's primary responsibilities
focus providing high-level administrative support to the CEO by
scheduling, drafting and editing correspondence, coordinating
travel, conducting research, preparing statistical reports,
handling information requests, and servicing as liaison to the
Board of Directors. The Executive Assistant works in close
collaboration with the People Operations and Finance & Operations
team to best support the organization. - -Responsibilities:

Logistics Support: Schedule all internal and external meetings,
which includes preparing any materials, attending meetings as
necessary, and coordinating strategic follow-up as required.
Prioritize and advocate for CEO's wellness when mapping out
scheduling in an effort to ultimately better serve the
organization. -
Administrative Support: Manage CEO's communications including
answering phone calls, directing calls to appropriate parties,
taking messages, and responding to general inquiries, as well as
screening and prioritizing phone calls and emails. -
Travel Support: Arrange & manage all domestic and international
travel and lodging (including booking air, hotel, and ground
transportation). -
Board Liaison: Serve as liaison to the Vital Voices Executive
Committee and Board of Directors, which includes preparing meeting
agendas and supporting materials for distributions, ensuring timely
distribution of materials, taking minutes, and supporting the board
with meeting, travel, and other arrangements. -
Operations: Prepare and manage invoices, contracts, financial
statements (like Credit Card Reconciliations), budget preparations,
and document maintenance. -
Qualitative Research: Research, track, and synthesize news, media,
and events on global women's issues and global events to support
CEO communications. -
DE Commitment: Model the Vital Voices commitment to Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion to disrupt and evolve systems and behaviors
that negatively impact women and BIPOC employees and network.??

-Qualifications: -An excellent candidate will have several
capabilities. They will exhibit the following: -REQUIRED: -
At least 5-7 years in an environment assisting high-level
executives - -
Ability to conduct administrative and managerial duties with
superior judgement, professionalism, poise, the highest level of
confidentiality, and assertiveness -
Proficiency in use of computer programs: Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook), Canva, email, and proven
internet research skills -
Excellent oral and written communications including strong editing
skills -
Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented -
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle many
competing priorities -
Demonstrated interest in international women's issues and/or other
human rights issues with strong commitment to Vital Voices' mission

solutions and recommendations to resolve problems -
A collaborative team player with great initiative as well as an

-This position is a full-time, exempt position based in Washington,
DC. If and when it is safe to travel, domestic and international
travel up to 20% may be required for the position. - -The starting
salary range for this position is $61,536 based on experience and
ability to have broad impact early. The compensation package
includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k

short- and long-term disability, life insurance, HSA, EAP, and a
