Responsibilities

The Financial Analytics Consultant will support a team in the development, evaluation, and implementation of a financial management and budget solution for a State Department client. The individual will be responsible for evaluating multiple financial and budgetary processes to include the the establishment of formal budgets, linking budget items to strategy, along with creating and assigning new methodologies to manage the budget lifecycle. The Senior Consultant will also coordinate with the client and team to execute activities such as financial transformation, business process re-engineering, stakeholder interviews, process design mapping and gap analysis.
Qualifications

Required:----- Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.--- Demonstrated experience in evaluating business operations to include budgetary and financial analysis, financial strategy and transformation, data analytics and visualizations
--- Knowledge of financial and budget management best practices and methodologies
--- Experience working with data analytics and business intelligence tools including SharePoint, R, UiPath, Tableau, Power BI, or other similar tools
--- Experience developing and presenting operational diagrams in Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Visio
--- Experience interacting directly with Federal clients at all levels of leadership; polished and professional in client interactions
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
--- Proactive and comfortable working independently
--- An active Secret Clearance required--- Degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field--Preferred:----- Experience working within Department of State and/or the Intelligence Community, or other Federal agencies with international focus.
