Staff Accountant/AP Analyst

The AP Analyst will work closely with the Accounting
Manager/Controller and the Senior Accountant with the day-to-day
operations of the Finance and Administration department. Under the
general supervision of the Accounting Manager/Controller, this
position is responsible for assisting with various job tasks
related to accounts payable, and financial reporting. Attention to
detail is essential and all job tasks must be completed in a timely
and accurate manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include some or all of the following):
--- Reconciles bank accounts for payroll, operating, flexible
spending, and clinic depository accounts.
--- Oversees Daily Clinic Variance reporting and reports
discrepancies to Accounting Manager/Controller on a monthly
--- Initiates cash transfers and maintains cash journal.
--- Maintains cash receipt journal for all locations.
--- Maintain, depreciate, and reconcile fixed assets records.
--- Entry of budgets and journal ledger entries into the MIP
accounting system, prepare all reoccurring journal entries.
--- Completes and distributes internal financial reports on a
--- Reconciles all balance sheet accounts, except for investments
and third-party receivables.
--- Maintains and reconciles capital asset software, capital asset,
and depreciation accounts.
--- Reconciles development income accounts on a monthly basis.
--- Maintain complete asset files and assist in annual audits.
--- Makes certain that purchasing documents are properly completed
and monitors proper authorization and appropriate supporting
--- Selects vendors, assesses vendor capabilities, develops
alternate sources and evaluates vendor performance, negotiates
price and delivery.
--- Processes accounts payable including matching invoices with
purchase orders & receiving documents, writing requisitions, and

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
--- Bachelor's degree or equivalent or higher in Accounting,
Finance, Economics or Business.
--- Three years in non-profit accounting using automated accounting
--- Proficient with MS Office products especially Access and Excel
and/or other databases/spreadsheet software.
--- Strong organizational and communication skills.
--- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
