Job Description: AT&T Global Public Sector is a trusted provider of secure, IP enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal GovernmentWe are dedicated to recruiting, developing, and empowering a diverse, high-performing workforce that is passionate about what they do, committed to our shared values, and dedicated to our customers' missionOur National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operationsAT&T has an opening for a Configuration Management - Compliance Technician whose primary duties are to establish, deploy, and maintain the customer's network enterprise configuration baselineThis is done through several collaboration efforts amongst the contract teams as well as with the customerThe deployment of the baseline can be done through command line interface, Commercial-off-the Shelf (COTS) network management system applications, or taskings through the customer's ticketing system to our applicable teamsThe Compliance Technician's primary goal is to ensure that the baseline is up to date, secure to the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and accurate across the entire network enterpriseThis is an excellent opportunity to develop in one of AT&Ts key engineering organizations supporting deployment of new, innovative, and challenging technologiesThe job duties of the Compliance Technician are as follows:--- Manage the IT-IA-IM baseline configuration for all-project related work for project oversight as well as office-level oversight and control
* Develop policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items and processes
* Participate in the evaluation of new network technologies and make recommendations to the network architecture team regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network--- Utilize complex network analysis tools to assist in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities throughout enterprise level services
* Monitor security posture of the network using network compliance tools, report suspected violations to designated teams for mitigation.
* Support Operations and Maintenance (O& M) activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations; providing training on such activities where required.
* Monitor the performance of compliance and auditing of network management systems to include troubleshooting device and network issues
* Configure network devices using management tools and command line interfaces to ensure they follow DISA STIG guidelines.--- Interface with vendors, internal customers, and peers to schedule and coordinate work.
* Interface with and coordinate work taskings through customer managed ticket system Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph(#ts/sci) (#polygraph) Required Qualifications:--- Candidate must have 10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and educationThis equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, Bachelors and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years.
* Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2Required qualifications include:--- Functional knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Functional knowledge of system administrator roles and actions
* Functional understanding of networking Operating Systems (OS) such as Cisco and Juniper
* Familiar with terminal emulators, serial console, and network file transfer applications such as PuTTY, Xterm, WinSCP.--- Proficiency creating drawings using MS Visio
* Have a working knowledge of complex routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gate Protocol (BGP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), etcDesired Qualifications:--- Ability to brief and communicate with team leadership, customers, and vendors
* Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence team collaboration applications
* Prior system administrator with knowledge of vulnerability remediation
* Be familiar with applications related to network and topology mapping
