Job Description:
Actively contribute to all aspects of client engagements by
conducting strategic, financial and organizational analysis; developing
and evaluating recommendations; collaborating directly with clients;
and implementing solutions. Primary Responsibilities: • Plan and manage a significant part of the case team, lead
project delivery across a range of complex strategic and organizational
issues • Provide thought leadership in structuring the analysis and
driving content and insights • Generate strategic and organizational insights using
qualitative or quantitative analysis • Manage the development and preparation of client-ready presentations/outputs • Maintain client relationships, and communicate effectively
with clients to build consensus and influence • Oversee and guide junior consultants, including review of
their analyses and providing coaching/mentorship/direction • Contribute to business development efforts and draft client
proposals with other managerial staff. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field of study and five (5) years of
experience conducting data research, performing empirical analyses, and
developing theoretical or simulation models in the fields of industrial
organization, antitrust economics or merger analysis. OR Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Economics,
Finance, Accounting or related field of study and three (3) years of
experience conducting data research, performing empirical analyses, and
developing theoretical or simulation models in the fields of industrial
organization, antitrust economics or merger analysis. OR Ph.D. degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Economics,
Finance, Accounting or related field of study and one (1) year of
experience conducting data research, performing empirical analyses, and
developing theoretical or simulation models in the fields of industrial
organization, antitrust economics or merger analysis. Skill Sets: * Demonstrated expertise researching and studying
industry-specific data and institutional factors using multiple sources of information
to acquire fact-based knowledge of the industry under consideration and
related economic issues. * Demonstrated expertise developing microeconomic models
relevant to industrial organization, antitrust policy or merger analysis,
and studying the theoretical properties of the models using Mathematica or
similar software. * Demonstrated expertise performing a wide range of statistical
and econometric analyses using Stata or similar software to analyze
large datasets and estimate economic models relevant to industrial
organization, antitrust issues or merger analysis. * Demonstrated expertise establishing and numerically solving
optimization problems and economic models, using MATLAB or similar software
to analyze industrial organization or microeconomic problems relevant to
antitrust issues or merger analysis. * Demonstrated experience as a research assistant or teaching
assistant in statistics, econometrics or applied microeconomics. * Demonstrated experience as a presenter at conferences,
