Job Description:

Neustar, Inc. seeks a Senior QA Engineer in Sterling, VA

Duties: Will define, develop, and implement quality assurance practices and

procedures, test plans and other QA assessments. Will define scope and

objectives at all levels of QA testing. Will establish standards and best

practices for the QA function. Will create manuals and automated test plans

using multiple tool sets. Will write complex SQL statements. Will

participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression,

load and system testing. Will be responsible for the overall success of

testing. Will manage assigned projects from IT Quality Testing through final

User Acceptance Testing.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,

Information Technology, Math, or Physics plus four (4) years experience

performing software development and QA testing.

Special Requirements:

*Demonstrated expertise performing quality assurance testing using QTP,

Loadrunner, and QualityCenter.

*Demonstrated experience performing software development using Java, Groovy,

and VB Script for QTP.

*Demonstrated expertise working in an Agile environment and implementing

Agile and Waterfall lifecycle methodologies.

*Demonstrated expertise developing and executing SQL queries and stored

procedures to perform data setup and maintenance in a test environment.
