Cordia Resources is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a focus on property management. The Property Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining financial records, and supporting overall financial operations.Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.Analyze financial data and provide variance analysis to identify trends and potential issues.General Ledger Management:Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to property transactions.Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in the preparation of annual property budgets.Collaborate with property management teams to gather relevant information for budgeting and forecasting.Accounts Payable and Receivable:Process property-related invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.Tenant and Lease Accounting:Maintain tenant ledgers and ensure accurate billing.Collaborate with property managers to address tenant financial inquiries.Compliance:Stay informed about accounting standards and regulations related to property management.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a Property Accountant in the real estate industry.Strong knowledge of property accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.IND123by Jobble
