Job Description:
Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the
Facility Operations Unit of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORYDuties--- You
will be responsible for maintaining the Tactical Electronic Warfare
Division facility in a high state of operational readiness.--- You
will diagnose problems for all building related infrastructure and
systems and planning a course of action to correct.--- You will
assess potential problem areas, recommend solutions and associated
limitations and then work with the team to plan the implementation
of the selected corrective action.--- You will train individuals in
the proper and safe operation of these facilities.--- You will
monitor, oversee and address deficiencies in operational and
preventable maintenance procedures for all building
facilitiesRequirements Conditions of Employment--- Must be a US
Citizen.--- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.---

demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent
to the next lower pay band (NR-02) or GS equivalent (GS 5-8) in the
federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public
sector performing most or all of the following duties: Diagnosing
problems for all building related infrastructure and systems and
planning a course of action to correct; 2) Communicating
effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing with team
members, employees and management, other govt personnel, and
contractors3) Maintaining, designing, recommending upgrades to the
facility to assure that current and future needs are met; and 4)
working with HVAC systems, building utilities, power distribution
systems, fire alarm/prevention/suppressions systems, and their
